Dustin Harbin Art Giveaway

Posted in comics on February 5th, 2010 by Chad – Comments Off

Artist Dustin Harbin, last seen here with his tattoo commission art of Harry S. Truman, is doing a bit of the old ultra-self-promotion and offering up an original bit of his art as a prize for spreading his good name on Twitter. We like Dustin, we like Twitter, we like comic art. Frankly I don’t see how this can go wrong. So go give the man a shout-out. And if you’re not on Twitter, why not?  Give @CollierComics a follow while you’re there.

...and they think it's keen

Just a quick post to give props to someone we follow here at the Department, Dustin Harbin, groovy cartoonist and Creative Director at Heroes Aren’t Hard To Find. Specifically the nifty image of Harry S. Truman he posted today on his flickr page. I ran Harry as a character on City of Heroes, and got a lot of fun comments on him over the course of his crime-fighting career. (I’m also amused at the idea of ex-presidents-as-tattoos.) He’s got a lot of other cool stuff on flickr and his own website, so check it out.
